KS4 Visual Impairment Teacher Required

Teacher Required:

Teaching Personnel are currently working with an outstanding SEN school in Liverpool. They are looking for a long term KS4 teacher who has experience of working with pupils who are blind or have Visual Impairments. The pupils in the class are not working to a KS4 level and someone who has taught a broad range on subjects, KS2-3 curriculum or who is experienced teaching ASDAN is highly desired. This role is not exclusively for secondary trained teachers, primary trained teachers will be considered.

Any experience with personal care; feeding and changing is also desirable.

This position could lead to a permanent position for the right candidate.

School Information:

The school provides for students with varying levels of visual impairment. All have students have a statement of special educational needs and additional and complex learning and/or physical difficulties, including multi-sensory impairment.

The school is located in Liverpool, a short drive from the M62. There are buses and a train station located near to the school for those teachers requiring public transport.

Working Hours:

Working hours will be 9-3.45 with an early finish on Friday.
