A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Bargoed is seeking a Strong Behaviour Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team this September. This full-time role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference supporting pupils in Key Stage 3.

About the Role

As a Trainee Learning Support Assistant, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with:
• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• ADHD
• Dyslexia
• Emotional and behavioural difficulties
• Assist in lessons across a range of subjects
• Encourage positive behaviour, engagement, and inclusion

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with young people with ALN and challenging behaviour
• Confidence in using positive behaviour management strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Background in education, youth services, or coaching is desirable
• A calm, patient, and resilient approach
