A Roman Catholic Primary School in the Wythenshawe area of South Manchester has approached Teaching Personnel to help with the recruitment of staff for this academic year. The South Manchester School is looking for a level 3 teaching Assistant to work in KS2. The school has high expectations and is looking for someone who has high standards to join their teaching staff and hit the ground running within school. The role is to begin as soon as possible and will be on a full time basis for the rest of the academic year.

This 3 form entry school would require you to work in one of their year 6 classes in an effort to offer as much support as possible during a very important SATs year. The role would require you to be able to take small groups of pupils of around 5 out of class and support them on a more personal basis. The pupils you will be working with will vary from the higher ability to the lower ability so it is important you are able to differentiate between the two levels when required.

This will be a full time position with the school looking to take the candidate on a school based contract.

  • Level 3 TA
  • Support classes for year 6 pupils
  • £55- £70 a day based on experience

The school has received the rating "good" in the latest OFSTED report and the school has been described as holding a shared vision to provide the best education for pupils. The school is not afraid to make tough decision in order to give the pupils the teaching they deserve as they prioritise the education of their pupils.
