KS2 Teacher

Location:

Yorkshire and the Humber, West Yorkshire, Leeds, Rothwell, LS26.

Job Type:

Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

£130 - £210 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons to Key Stage 2 children
  • Assess and record pupil progress to ensure effective learning outcomes
  • Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for all students
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Previous teaching experience in Key Stage 2

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Proficient in using educational technology to enhance learning

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs

Working Conditions:

The role involves working in a school setting, following the academic calendar. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for school events or meetings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
