KS2 Primary NQT in Sheffield

Teaching Personnel are working with a client primary school in the Fulwood area of Sheffield (S10) to recruit for a Newly Qualified Teacher to teach in their Year 3 class from September 2019. The school are looking for an 'OUTSTANDING' practitioner who will be able to plan, deliver and assess learning for a mixed ability class of 32 children. This is a full time role which will run for the full duration of the 2019/2020 academic year with the potential of the successful candidate being offered a permanent contract at the end of the year.

To be considered for this post you will:

  • Be an NQT with experience teaching in KS2
  • Have a sound understanding of the Year 3 curriculum and the Key objectives for Year 3
  • Have strong behaviour management techniques and will also be able to adhere to the schools policies and procedures
  • Be committed to all aspects of school life and be dedicated to encouraging children across the school whilst continually working as a positive role model

The role is to work at a 'GOOD' South Sheffield Primary School which has been praised by OFSTED for its 'inclusive and caring ethos'. The school are dedicated to ensuring that every child is praised for their 'strengths, interests and talents' and pushing for every child to reach their potential. The school are looking for an enthusiastic NQT who will enhance the schools 'bright, lively atmosphere' whilst inspiring learning for children in Year 3.

The school are looking to short list for this role ASAP with a view to the successful candidates beginning a transition in July. The role will start on a full time basis in September.
