Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced 1:1 Tutor to provide personalised tuition to pupils in the Newcastle (NE1) area.

This rewarding opportunity involves supporting children and young people who require additional academic assistance to help them re-engage with learning, improve attainment, and achieve their educational goals. Experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is essential.

The Role:

• Deliver tailored 1:1 tuition sessions based on individual learning plans
• Support pupils across core subjects, including English, Maths, and Science where required
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet a range of learning needs and abilities
• Work with students with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
• Track progress and complete session reports following each lesson

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant tutoring/teaching experience
• Experience delivering 1:1 tuition or classroom teaching
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN (essential)
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
