KS1 Teaching Assistant

A client primary school in South of Sheffield are seeking a Teaching Assistant to work in their year 1 class on a full time basis. The ideal candidate will have recent and relevant experience assisting learning across KS1 and will be looking for their next full time teaching assistant opportunity.

The school is a larger than average, two form entry primary school which was rated 'GOOD' with 'OUSTANDING' features at its last OFSTED inspection. It boasts continuous levels of progression across KS1 and the staff have been praised for their teaching and assessment methods. The school is looking for a level 3 teaching assistant to work in their Year 1 class on a full time basis starting at the beginning of March. The ideal candidate will comfortable wit h the KS1 curriculum and will have a sound knowledge of the Letters and Sounds Framework for phonics. The successful applicant may be expected to take full classes in the absence of teachers across KS1.
