Why Join This School?

This is a school where staff are valued, supported and trusted to do what they do best: teach.

You'll be joining a welcoming English department committed to delivering engaging, creative lessons that inspire students to become confident communicators, critical thinkers and lifelong readers.

You'll benefit from:

A supportive and collaborative leadership team

Excellent CPD and career progression opportunities

Well-resourced classrooms and access to modern teaching technology

A positive school culture built on respect, ambition and inclusion

Opportunities to contribute to extracurricular activities, enrichment and literacy initiatives

A genuinely friendly and welcoming staff team

The Role

As an English Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging English Language and Literature lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Inspire students of all abilities to develop confidence in reading, writing and communication
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive
  • Assess, monitor and support pupil progress effectively
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop an exciting and innovative curriculum
  • Contribute positively to the wider life of the school community

We're Looking For Someone Who:

  • Can motivate and inspire young people
  • Has excellent classroom management skills
  • Is committed to raising achievement and improving outcomes

What Makes This Opportunity Different?

This isn't just another teaching role.

This is an opportunity to join a school that believes English sits at the centre of every student's future. From exploring classic literature to developing powerful written communication skills, you'll play a key role in helping young people find their voice and achieve their ambitions.
