Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a Year 2 Teaching Assistant on behalf of a client primary school in the Whalley Range area of Manchester. The school are looking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent, to work alongside other KS1 practitioners to encourage learning and raise attainment in Year 2. Applicants must hold a recognised Teaching Assistant Qualification or equivalent and must have recent and relevant experience assisting learning across KS1. To be considered for this KS1 TA position, you will have experience taking small intervention groups and assisting learning on a 1:1 basis. The successful applicant will be expected to take the full class in the teachers' absence.

The role is to work in a 'GOOD' Manchester Primary School which has been praised by OFSTED for 'delivering an educational experience of the highest quality in a safe, caring, stimulating and creative environment.' The head teacher and senior leaders of the school are dedicated to ensuring that all children are 'provided with a wide range of learning opportunities to encourage them to become independent individuals.' The school are looking for a Teaching Assistant who will work effectively alongside other professionals to ensure each child achieves their best!

Only applicants with a level 3 qualifications or equivalent with recent KS1 experience will be considered.

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant position - Year 2 class
  • Recent & relevant KS1 experience, essential
  • Full time position, immediate start
  • School is close to public transport links and is easily accessible by car
  • Competitive rates of pay dependant on candidates experience

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
