1:1 Tutor – Northamptonshire

Are you an experienced educator with a passion for helping students achieve their full potential?

We are currently recruiting 1:1 Tutors to support pupils across Northamptonshire. Tuition will be delivered either in the pupil's home or within a school setting during school hours. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing personalised support to students who require additional educational guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective one-to-one tuition sessions.
• Plan and adapt lessons to meet the individual needs of each pupil.
• Support students in improving their academic attainment, confidence, and engagement.
• Monitor progress and maintain accurate records of learning outcomes.
• Liaise with schools, parents/carers, and other professionals where required.
• Ensure all safeguarding and child protection procedures are followed at all times.

Essential Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years' teaching experience in the UK.
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver high-quality tuition.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with children and young people of varying abilities and needs.
• Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Right to work in the UK.
• Access to reliable transport and willingness to travel within Northamptonshire.

Desirable

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH, or those who are out of mainstream education.
• Previous tutoring experience.
