1:1 Tutor – Northamptonshire

Hours: Flexible, during school hours
Pay: Competitive rates (dependent on experience and qualifications)

We are currently recruiting 1:1 Tutors to support pupils across Northamptonshire. Tuition will be delivered either in the pupil's home or within a school setting during school hours. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing personalised support to students who require additional educational guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective one-to-one tuition sessions.
- Plan and adapt lessons to meet the individual needs of each pupil.
- Support students in improving their academic attainment, confidence, and engagement.
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate records of learning outcomes.
- Liaise with schools, parents/carers, and other professionals where required.
- Ensure all safeguarding and child protection procedures are followed at all times.
Essential Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years' teaching experience in the UK.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver high-quality tuition.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with children and young people of varying abilities and needs.
- Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Access to reliable transport and willingness to travel within Northamptonshire.
Desirable
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH, or those who are out of mainstream education.
- Previous tutoring experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
