A well-regarded secondary school in Rochdale, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Geography Teacher to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students and contribute to a supportive and forward-thinking learning environment.

The Role

As a Geography Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality lessons that inspire curiosity and deepen students’ understanding of the world around them. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess progress effectively, and contribute to the ongoing development of the geography curriculum.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong subject knowledge, a proactive approach to teaching, and the ability to motivate and engage learners of all abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver creative and engaging Geography lessons that drive student progress

  • Prepare students for exams and coursework, helping them achieve their full potential

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • A degree in Geography or a related subject
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • References covering the last 24 months
  • Availability for interviews and trial days
