A wonderful 2 form entry school, near Queen's Park Station, is currently recruiting for a Teacher for their Year 1 Class - to start in January 2019.
The school is Ofsted graded 'Good' with outstanding features and they are looking for a member of staff who will continue to hold, and potentially extend this standard of teaching.
The school are part of United Learning - this is a group of schools who share knowledge and experience to help to improve their schools. This is a great benefit to the staff here as it allows them to learn from other teachers from schools across the country.
The staff and pupil's here are proud to be Eco-champions and are reducing the amount of waste that their school produces. Pupils can also benefit from extra-curricular activities such as music lessons, sports clubs and the politics club. Being close to Queen's Park station the school has access to many facilities across London such as: Museum of London, Science Museum, London Zoo and a number of different venues.
Shortlisting criteria for this role are:
- A valid QTS
- Ability to plan and prepare effectively
- At least 2 years of Class Teaching experience
- Experience working within KS1
- A positive and optimistic approach to teaching
