KS1 SEN Teaching Assistant Required!
Full time vacancy based in Feltham, Hounslow.
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a specialist SEN teaching assistant to work with a range of students with a variety of needs. This will include students with autism, ADHD, speech, language and communication difficulties and behavioural issues.
The school?
This large four form entry school in the heart of Feltham, the Ofsted rated outstanding school has worked hard to create a school that embraces students from all backgrounds and cultures. There has been a focus on connecting learning to their environment and learning through real experiences. Alongside their additional ASC and Social Communication difficulties centre they encourage students to understand and accept eachother from different cultures, backgrounds and abilities. The centre provides specialist therapy and support to help students develop in a number of ways.
The school prides itself on it's commitment to creating a positive and nurturing learning environment.
The role?
This full time position will consist of working across their KS1 classes to provide one to one and group support, You will be working closely with the SENCO to provide a high standard of care, assessing and working through individual educational health care plans. Providing feedback to the parents and carers is a huge part of the role, providing feedback and support from the classroom to home setting.
Ideal candidate?
- Experienced working wtih students with SEN, primarily autism experience preferred
- Confident working with the KS1 curriculum
- Adaptable to different students and classes
- Proactive and thinks on their feet

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
