Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support - KS1) | Blackpool (FY3)
Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Ofsted-rated GOOD primary school in the FY3 area of Blackpool.
This rewarding role involves providing 1:1 support to a Key Stage 1 pupil with Global Learning Delay, helping them to access the curriculum, build confidence, and achieve their full potential within a mainstream classroom setting.
The Role
- Full-time Teaching Assistant position within a mainstream primary school
- Providing dedicated 1:1 support for a KS1 pupil with Global Learning Delay
- Assisting with learning activities tailored to the child's individual needs
- Supporting social, emotional and academic development
- Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider school staff
- Creating a positive, nurturing and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working with children in a school, childcare or support setting
- Knowledge or experience supporting children with additional needs is desirable
- Patient, adaptable and enthusiastic approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
- Relevant qualifications are beneficial but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
