KS1 Class Teacher - Angel, Islington , London

Date posted : 20/02/19
£3200 - £3400 per month

Job description

This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...

Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a bubbly Y1 Teacher to join one of our lovely Primary Schools based locally to Angel station. They are preferably looking for a Fully Qualified Teacher but would be happy to consider Newly Qualified or Overseas Trained Teachers - so we would encourage everyone with QTS to apply! The school is rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted and is led by a really enthusiastic Senior Leadership Team that provides plenty of guidance and support. They're looking for someone up until the end of July, but this would also put you in a strong position for a place in September - but that's up to you!

The School

Working in this 2 form entry school will give you the opportunity to develop and grow as part of a very successful team. They are looking to hire on a permanent basis so the idea is you will stay for the foreseeable future. There are also opportunities to take a lead on subjects or year groups as preferred.

To Be Successful

Candidates with the following are more likely to be shortlisted:

  • PGCE or Overseas Qualified Teachers.
  • At least 1 Year UK experience working within Primary School.
  • Sound knowledge of the KS1 Curriculum.
  • Outgoing confident and bubbly personality.

If this role sounds like something you'd be interested in then please call Mike on 02075933088 and I will be happy to discuss the opportunity in further detail with you. I look forward to hearing from you!

  • We keep it local! 'A Consultant per borough' means precision and short commutes
  • Keep it flexible - We offer block bookings, Day-to-day supply, Long-term and Permanent opportunities
  • Want a perm contract - let us know and we'll do our absolute best to create that transition
