Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and development in Key Stage 2?
A friendly primary school in Yeovil is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic full-time Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children aged 7 to 11, supporting them in their academic progress and personal growth within a supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Supporting pupils in the classroom with learning activities
-
Assisting the class teacher in delivering differentiated lessons
-
Helping to manage behaviour and encourage positive attitudes
-
Supporting small groups or one-to-one interventions
-
Encouraging pupils’ social and emotional development
Person Specification:
-
Experience working with primary-aged children (desirable)
-
Patient, adaptable and committed to helping pupils succeed
-
Good communication skills and a team player
-
DBS registered on the Update Service or willing to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
