Job Title: Key Stage 2 Teacher
Location: York
Contract Type: Temporary/Supply
Hours: 0830-1530/1600 Monday to Friday, Term Time Only
Job Description
Delivering the national curriculum to a mixed ability Key Stage 2 class, with no more than 8 pupils in the class. This is a diverse position, with the opportunity to work 1:1 with pupils. You will follow a termly topic for the whole class and then adapt lesson plans according to each pupil's ability. To assist with engagement levels, there will be at least 1 Teaching Assistant in the classroom.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is easily adaptable and flexible in their approach to teaching
- Will promote forward thinking teaching and strive to achieve the best from their pupils
- Help pupils to develop both academically and socially
- Has a commitment to the School by being fully involved in School activities
