Teaching Personnel is excited to be working in partnership with a welcoming and ambitious primary school in Didsbury to recruit an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join their Key Stage 2 team from October 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified teacher to begin their teaching journey in a supportive and nurturing school environment. The Role
As a Key Stage 2 ECT, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that inspire pupils and support their academic and personal development.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering creative and engaging lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Assessing pupil progress and using data effectively to inform teaching
- Supporting the needs of all learners, including pupils with SEND and EAL
- Establishing high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and pupil wellbeing
- Building positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents
- Working collaboratively with year group partners and support staff
- Fully engaging with the ECT induction programme and professional development opportunities

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Early Career Teacher who is eager to make a positive impact within Key Stage 2.
The successful candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be due to achieve QTS before the start of the role
- A strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- The ability to plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners
- A reflective and proactive approach to professional development
- Strong organisational skills and a positive attitude
- A genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential
- Confidence in using technology to enhance teaching and learning
