Teaching Personnel is excited to be working in partnership with a welcoming and ambitious primary school in Didsbury to recruit an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join their Key Stage 2 team from October 2026.

The Role

As a Key Stage 2 ECT, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that inspire pupils and support their academic and personal development.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering creative and engaging lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
  • Assessing pupil progress and using data effectively to inform teaching
  • Supporting the needs of all learners, including pupils with SEND and EAL
  • Establishing high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and pupil wellbeing
  • Building positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents
  • Working collaboratively with year group partners and support staff
  • Fully engaging with the ECT induction programme and professional development opportunities

✅ About You

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Early Career Teacher who is eager to make a positive impact within Key Stage 2.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be due to achieve QTS before the start of the role
  • A strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • The ability to plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners
  • A reflective and proactive approach to professional development
  • Strong organisational skills and a positive attitude
  • A genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential
  • Confidence in using technology to enhance teaching and learning
