Start Date: October 2026
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Didsbury, seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from October 2026.

The Role

As the successful Year 1 Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that encourage curiosity and a love of learning.
  • Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development during this important stage of their education.
  • Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for every child.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who has:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Previous experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 1.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A genuine passion for primary education and pupil achievement.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated school team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
