Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a well-regarded primary school in Abbey Hey that is seeking an enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join their team from November 2026. The Role
As the Year 1 Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons that support pupil progress and foster a love of learning
- Create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
- Assess and monitor pupil attainment, using assessment data to inform future planning
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to achieve the best possible outcomes
- Contribute positively to the wider school community and uphold the school's values and ethos
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- A creative and engaging approach to teaching and learning
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all pupils
