Inspire Success in a Key Stage 2 Classroom

Teaching Personnel is working with a friendly and supportive primary school in Partington that is looking to appoint a dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join their team from October 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated educator to lead a Year 6 class, supporting pupils through a crucial stage of their primary education as they prepare for SATs and their transition to secondary school.

The Role

As a Year 6 Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge learners.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing targeted support where needed.
  • Prepare pupils for end-of-Key Stage 2 assessments and secondary school readiness.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school leaders to achieve the best outcomes for every pupil.
  • Foster confidence, resilience, and a love of learning in all students.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Has experience teaching within Key Stage 2, with Year 6 experience desirable.
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Has a secure understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • Is committed to raising attainment while supporting pupils' wellbeing and personal development.
  • Brings enthusiasm, professionalism, and a positive approach to school life.
