Inspire Success in a Key Stage 2 Classroom

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a friendly and supportive primary school in Partington that is seeking a dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join their team from November 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated educator to take responsibility for a Year 6 class, supporting pupils through an important stage of their primary education as they prepare for SATs and their transition to secondary school.

The Role

As a Year 6 Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons that motivate and challenge pupils.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing targeted support where required.
• Prepare pupils for end of Key Stage 2 assessments and support their readiness for secondary education.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school leaders to achieve the best outcomes for all pupils.
• Promote confidence, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Has experience teaching within Key Stage 2, with Year 6 experience desirable.
• Demonstrates strong classroom management and organisational skills.
• Has a secure understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements.
• Is committed to raising attainment while supporting pupils' wellbeing and personal development.
• Brings enthusiasm, professionalism, and a positive approach to school life.
