Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working alongside a welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in Didsbury, seeking a motivated Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join their Key Stage 2 team this September.
This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified teacher to begin their career within a supportive school environment that places equal importance on pupil achievement and staff development. The Role
As a Key Stage 2 ECT, you will play a vital role in inspiring pupils and helping them develop the knowledge and skills needed for the next stage of their education.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where pupils can flourish
- Assessing, monitoring, and tracking pupil progress to ensure positive outcomes
- Supporting pupils of varying abilities, including those with SEND and EAL needs
- Establishing high expectations for behaviour and learning
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to promote pupil success
- Engaging fully with your ECT programme and ongoing professional development opportunities
About You
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic teacher who is eager to make a positive impact within Key Stage 2.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be on track to achieve it before September
- A strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- The ability to plan engaging lessons that meet a range of learning needs
- A reflective and proactive approach to professional development
- A genuine passion for helping pupils achieve their full potential
- Confidence using technology to enhance teaching and learning
