Location: Rhondda Cynon Taf, Merthyr Tydfil & Caerphilly
Contract: Full-Time & Part-Time Roles Available
Pay Rate: £172.98 per day
Start Date: September 2026

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic ECTs to work across a range of schools in Rhondda Cynon Taf, Merthyr Tydfil and Caerphilly. With opportunities in primary, secondary and specialist SEN provisions, you'll be able to develop your teaching skills in a variety of rewarding educational settings.

About the Role

Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons appropriate to your subject or phase.

Create positive, inclusive learning environments where pupils can achieve their full potential.

Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of learners with a range of abilities and backgrounds.

Work collaboratively with teachers, teaching assistants and senior leaders.

Assess, monitor and support pupil progress.

Gain valuable classroom experience that contributes towards your ECT induction.

Choose from day-to-day, short-term, long-term or permanent opportunities.
We're Looking for Someone Who Is:

An Early Career Teacher (ECT) or newly qualified teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Passionate about inspiring and supporting young people.
-
Eager to develop professionally and build confidence in the classroom.

Flexible, reliable and committed to delivering high-quality teaching.
-
Able to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents/carers.
-
Welsh-speaking skills are desirable but not essential.
Requirements
Teaching Personnel will support you in obtaining:

Education Workforce Council (EWC) Registration.
-
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
-
Two professional references covering the last two years.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
