  • Keeping pupils engaged and on task.
  • Managing classroom behaviour positively and consistently.
  • Creating a calm, safe and productive learning environment.
  • Supporting students aged 11-16 to achieve their best.
  • Reporting back to teaching staff at the end of the lesson.

This is not a teaching role, so there is no lesson planning or marking involved.

Who Would Be Perfect for This Role?

We're particularly interested in hearing from people with backgrounds such as:

  • Ex-Police Officers
  • Military or Armed Forces Personnel
  • Sports Coaches
  • Youth Workers
  • Prison Officers
  • Behaviour Mentors
  • Learning Support or Teaching Assistants
  • Community Support Workers
  • Coaching or Mentoring Professionals
  • Graduates considering a career in teaching
  • Anyone looking for a rewarding new challenge where they can make a real difference

If you're calm under pressure, confident leading groups and passionate about helping young people succeed, this could be the perfect opportunity.

What We Offer

Why Join This School on a Flexible Basis?

This is a school that values strong relationships, teamwork and creating positive outcomes for every student. You'll be joining a staff team that supports one another and appreciates the important role Behaviour Support Assistants play in keeping learning on track.

Every day brings something different, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants a genuinely rewarding role.
