Key Stage 1 Teacher – Year 2 - September Start
Teaching Personnel are seeking to appoint a Year 2 Teacher to fulfil the requirements of an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted rated school in the South Sheffield area. The role is expected to commence in September 2021 in alignment with the beginning of the academic year. This is a full-time teaching role, initially running from September – December 2021, with a view to extending the role further for the right candidate. We also encourage applications from those who are only available on a part-time basis, as the school may consider a job-share arrangement.
Role Description:
- Delivery of the KS1 curriculum
- Planning responsibilities are unknown at this stage – We encourage all applicants to discuss preferences so that this can be liaised with the school
- Coordination of formative assessments where necessary
- Monitoring student progress and identifying areas for improvement to ensure that all reach their highest potential
- Scaffolding learning effectively through adjusting teaching style based on the needs of individual learners
- Making reasonable adjustments and differentiating lesson plans to ensure that those with SEN experience an inclusive education
Minimum Requirements:
- QTS or equivalent
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 is desirable but not essential
