Job Title: GCSE SEN Tutor

Location: East of England, Essex, Chelmsford

Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated GCSE SEN Tutor to join our team in Chelmsford, Essex. As a temporary full-time position, you will be responsible for providing tailored support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) studying for their GCSE English and Maths exams.

Job Duties:

  • Develop individualised learning plans for students with SEN
  • Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons to support students in their GCSE subjects
  • Provide ongoing feedback and assessment to monitor student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student development
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students with SEN

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Strong understanding of the GCSE curriculum

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience
  • Knowledge of different learning styles and strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Working Conditions:

This role involves working with students in one-on-one tutoring sessions. The ability to adapt to different learning needs and maintain a positive and supportive learning environment is essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
