Intervention Teaching Assistants required

A client school of mine is looking for experienced and passionate Teaching Assistants to work across KS1 and KS2. You will be carrying out Math's and Literacy interventions in order to raise levels of progress and attainment. This will be under the direction of the class teacher.

The school is a large two form entry school on the outskirts of Tameside. When you are in the school you can really feel how proud everyone is of the school. Children are encouraged to work hard and have a positive approach to their learning in order to accomplish their true potential. The school prides itself on utilising sport, art, drama and music to enhance their pupil's time at the school. The children are renowned for being well-mannered, hospitable and well behaved.

Key things:

  • Relevant experience
  • Excellent knowledge of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum
  • Works well within a team
  • Is available on a long term/ full time basis
  • Experience working with EAL/SEN children is desirable
  • Excellent behaviour management
