Reading and phonics tuition
- Part-time role
- Intervention across maths, reading, writing and phonics
- EYFS and KS1
Due to the recent gap in learning, additional support is required to help students achieve their targeted levels. This will be implemented through 1:1 and small group booster sessions.
A 'Good' Bacup Primary School are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work across Reception and KS1. The successful candidate will be required to provide 1:1 and small group intervention sessions for the students, recent experience within a Primary School setting in necessary and experience within a similar role is desirable.
Requirements for the role:
- As the school are looking to consider either a teaching assistant or teacher for the role you will require either CACHE Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or QTS
- Minimum grade C in English & Maths at GCSE (or equivalent)
- Experience using Letters and Sounds, Jolly Phonics or Read Write Inc. Phonics schemes
- Experience supporting children within a Primary School setting.
- November 2021 Start

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
