The ICT department falls under the Science and Mathematics faculty at this highly supportive and very reputable college but has its own specific area and ‘personality’ within the college. The college being consistently over subscribed with high student numbers taking on ICT has fully kitted computer suites as well as a central interactive TV with large whiteboards. The college therefore has the ethos of high expectations and high attainment levels which should be echoed by the successful ICT teacher.
The college is situated in the central Manchester area making it very easy to get to via public transport or for those ICT teachers travelling by car.
