Permanent ICT & Computing teacher needed in Twickenham - September start date - £140 to £250 a day

­­­A lovely school located near Twickenham is currently looking to interview for an ICT and Computing teacher to start in September on a full time basis. This would be a permanent role beginning after then summer for a teacher with experience teaching for at least a year in a secondary school. Any teachers applying must hold either a PGCE or QTS and have a working understanding of programming languages, for example; HTML, Java, C+, C++, Pyth0n etc.

Requirements

  • ICT and Computing teacher required, must have PGCE or QTS
  • Experience teaching in Computing in Secondary schools at either KS3, KS or KS5 level
  • It would be a Full-time role working 5 days a week, 8:30am - 3:30pm
  • There are interviews and trials for this role in the next few weeks which is a permanent position
  • Techers must have a good understanding of programming languages and the modern computing syllabus
  • There will be a requirement to plans, prepare, mark and assess student's work as well as providing feedback.

About the School

This outstanding independent secondary school located in Twickenham is looking to hire an IT and Computing teacher available in September to work on a full time basis.

The school has a community atmosphere and had an ethos based upon equality of opportunity. There are expectations to maintain high standards upheld by the senior leadership and are expected to be maintained all staff. As a result there is an emphasis on supporting all teachers where they can, whether it be support staff in the classrooms or providing them with a good work life balance.

The successful candidate is expected to have a good classroom control and have a passion for their subject, eager to shape young minds. The school are looking for fully qualified teachers with a PGCE or QTS who can engage children using innovative teaching methods. Experience working in UK Secondary schools would be ideal and applicants will need UK recognised qualifications.

The staff ensures every student has the opportunity and ability to excel in later life. They give students the tools the create success where ever they are.

Ofsted gave this school a rating of "outstanding" and stated leadership has clear plans for improvement to boost their rating, they also noted; "The provision for pupils' personal development is outstanding. Carefully devised programmes enable pupils to develop their leadership skills and take responsibility for their behaviour."

This fantastic school is looking for strong candidates who not only care about their students and can control a class proficiently, but are also excited by the subject they teach.

Requirements - Please do not apply if you do not meet the below requirements

  • An ICT & Computing teacher with experience teaching in Secondary schools at KS3,4 or 5 level
  • The teacher would require UK recognised teaching qualifications (BA QTS, BSc QTS, CERT ED, PGCE)
  • A passionate and friendly teacher with a hard-working attitude and dedication towards their students
  • Good behaviour management would be ideal

The school is a 6 minute walk from Twickenham station, located in Twickenham.
