Part-Time Humanities Teacher (Chorley)
Fixed Term: 1st September – 24th October 2025

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Part-Time Humanities Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking school community in Chorley. This is a temporary position to cover a short-term period from 1st September to 24th October 2025.

• Location: Chorley, Lancashire

• Start Date: 1st September 2025

• End Date: 24th October 2025

• Contract Type: Temporary, part-time

• Subjects: History, Geography, and Religious Studies (Key Stages 3 and/or 4)

• Salary: MPS/UPS (pro rata), dependent on experience

The Role:
You will deliver engaging and inspiring Humanities lessons across Key Stages 3 and possibly 4, helping students to develop a deep understanding of the world around them. You’ll be part of a collaborative department with access to a wide range of resources and support.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent

• Has experience teaching Humanities subjects

• Is passionate about education and student progress

• Can engage and motivate learners of all abilities

• Is reliable, flexible, and a strong team player

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
