Job Vacancy: Temporary Part-Time Art and Design Teacher – Chorley (September Start)

Location: Chorley, Lancashire
Start Date: September 2025
Duration: 2 Terms (Autumn and Spring)
Contract Type: Temporary, Part-Time
Key Stages: KS3 and KS4
Salary: MPS/UPS (pro rata)

Are you a passionate Art and Design educator looking for a new opportunity to inspire creativity and innovation in young minds?

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Art and Design Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Chorley from September 2025 for two terms. This is a part-time role, ideal for a teacher looking to make a meaningful impact while enjoying a balanced workload.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching Art and Design at KS3 and KS4

  • A creative and engaging teaching style

  • Commitment to high standards and student progress

  • Strong classroom management skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
