Job description

HLTA / Senior Teaching Assistant – Full Time

Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester 
Contract: Full time

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HLTA or Senior Teaching Assistant to support within a specialist school in Bolton.

This role is ideal for someone looking to take on additional responsibility within the classroom and support both pupils and staff across the school.

The Role Will Include:

  • Leading small group interventions
  • Supporting lesson delivery across different classes
  • Providing classroom cover when required
  • Supporting pupils with SEN and behavioural needs
  • Working alongside teaching staff and senior leaders

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous HLTA experience or strong TA experience
  • Confidence leading sessions independently
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • A proactive and organised approach
  • Full-time availability

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
