Teaching Personnel are seeking motivated, enthusiastic graduates to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) across primary, secondary and specialist schools in East Manchester.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll help pupils access learning and feel supported, safe and confident. Your day may involve:

  • Supporting classroom activities alongside teachers
  • Providing 1:1 or small‑group SEN support (ASC, ADHD, communication & sensory needs)
  • Helping with emotional regulation and routines
  • Using creative approaches to make learning engaging
  • Working with SENCOs, therapists and specialist teams

⭐ We’re Looking For Graduates With:

  • Degrees in Psychology, Education, Childhood Studies, Sociology, Sport, Health & Social Care, Criminology—or anyone with a passion for helping others
  • A positive, patient and proactive attitude
  • Confidence supporting behaviour, communication or sensory needs
  • Availability Monday–Friday, 8:30–15:30
  • Willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
