Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Primary Schools
Location: Kettering & Corby
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: £100 – £130 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Long-Term (Full-Time)
Are you a dedicated HLTA looking to make a real difference in primary education? We’re currently seeking passionate and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants to work across a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools in Kettering and Corby, starting this September.
The Role:
-
Support teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 (depending on your experience and preference)
-
Deliver small group and whole-class teaching under the direction of the class teacher
-
Assist with planning and assessment, providing targeted support to help pupils progress
-
Create a positive and engaging learning environment
-
Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents
Requirements:
-
HLTA qualification or equivalent experience in a similar role
-
Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
-
Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively
-
A proactive, flexible and enthusiastic approach
-
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) and right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
