History Teacher

Job description

Teacher of History

Wakefield

Teaching Personnel are seeking an inspiring and well-qualified Teacher of History interested in working on long term supply in a Secondary School in Wakefield.

We are looking for someone skilled in teaching and coordinating the delivery of History at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Whilst on supply, you might be asked to revise schemes of work, and also to help ensure that the History curriculum fully engages students - so if you thrive off projects like this, supply teaching can offer you these opportunities.

Your subject knowledge must be extremely strong, and ideally you will be able to get across this knowledge enthusiastically and imaginatively.

We are privileged to work with forward thinking, adaptable, human and open minded schools throughout the whole of West Yorkshire - schools that can offer lots of progressive Humanities Departments to work in, and are looking for talented long term supply staff to join their team at various points throughout the year.

In order to apply for the above position all applicants must be eligible to work in the UK, or eligible to apply for a relevant work visa. Safeguarding, quality and professionalism is at the heart of what we do. Applicants are required to attend a face to face interview, reference checks and an enhanced DBS disclosure.
