We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and inspirational P.E. Teacher to join a thriving and supportive school community. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality P.E. lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable).
- Teach a broad range of sports and physical activities, adapting lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school policies.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes participation and achievement.
- Support students' physical, social, and emotional development through sport and physical activity.
- Organise and lead extracurricular clubs, fixtures, competitions, and sporting events.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and enhance the P.E. curriculum.
- Uphold high standards of behaviour, safeguarding, and student welfare.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Physical Education or a related subject.
- Experience teaching P.E. within a secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A commitment to raising standards and improving outcomes for all students.
- The ability to motivate and inspire young people through sport and physical activity.
- A willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
