We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and inspirational P.E. Teacher to join a thriving and supportive school community. The successful candidate will be passionate about promoting physical education, health, and wellbeing while delivering engaging lessons that inspire students to lead active and healthy lifestyles.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality P.E. lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable).
• Teach a broad range of sports and physical activities, adapting lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school policies.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes participation and achievement.
• Support students' physical, social, and emotional development through sport and physical activity.
• Organise and lead extracurricular clubs, fixtures, competitions, and sporting events.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and enhance the P.E. curriculum.
• Uphold high standards of behaviour, safeguarding, and student welfare.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Physical Education or a related subject.
• Experience teaching P.E. within a secondary school setting.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• A commitment to raising standards and improving outcomes for all students.
• The ability to motivate and inspire young people through sport and physical activity.
• A willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities.
