Full-time History teacher required in the new academic year.
Our client school located in Bolton wish to appoint a History teacher to join them from September 2020.
If you are a History teacher looking for a progressive role within a forward thinking school with a supportive and well organised senior leadership team, this could be the ideal position for you.
- Full-time History teacher required, September 2020 start date.
- 12 month temporary role with permanent opportunity available to the successful History teacher.
- Ofsted graded ‘Good’ mixed secondary academy (11-16).
- Pay in line with MPS/UPS (GBP24,373 - GBP40,490 per annum).
Due to a member of staff gaining promotion, this secondary academy located on the outskirts of Bolton town centre wish to appoint a History teacher on a full-time basis from September 2020. This is an excellent opportunity for any History teachers looking to join a well organised History department who achieve excellent results. Initially the school are able to offer a 12 month temporary role.
All applicants wishing to be considered for this opportunity must;
- Hold FQT status and a PGCE/Equivalent in secondary History.
- Be comfortable delivering History to all abilities across KS3 and GCSE.
- Be comfortable managing behaviour and achieving excellent results with all pupil abilities.
The school is located in the heart of Bolton just a few miles from Bolton train station, the school is easily accessible via the M60 or M61 making the surrounding areas; Bury, Salford, Manchester and Wigan easily commutable. With roughly 900 pupils on roll it is average in size and serves a good catchment area and pupils respect their teachers and peers. The school was inspected by Ofsted most recently in 2016, where it was judged a ‘Good’ school.
