Are you a qualified History Teacher looking for work in Sheffield?

A position for the full academic year from September 2017 at a modern and well facilitated secondary academy in North Sheffield has arisen. The school are looking for a History teacher on a full time basis, experience teaching KS4 History is essential, you will need to be involved with full departmental responsibilities throughout this post, newly qualified and experienced History teachers are welcome to apply.

“We have an immediate need in September for a History teacher to work in our excellent department on a full time supply basis. This position is to cover a 1 year maternity contract for the remainder of this academic year, at which point we will review for the September 2018 staffing for History. Previous experience teaching GCSE History is required due to the timetable you will be covering” – Business Manager.

Situated in a culturally diverse area of Sheffield, serving a mixed local community this is a modern 11-16 academy with state of the art facilities. Easily reached via Sheffield city centre and Junction 34 of the M1.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
