About the Role

As a History Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and informative lessons in History across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential KS5 depending on experience.

• Plan, assess, and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners.

• Inspire students to explore historical events, themes, and interpretations critically.

• Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.

• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider ethos of the school.

• Support extracurricular and enrichment opportunities related to History and the Humanities.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a committed and knowledgeable History teacher who has:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

• Strong subject knowledge in History.

• A passion for bringing the past to life and encouraging historical enquiry.

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

• The ability to inspire and motivate learners across different abilities.
