History Graduate required in York

I am working with a client school in Fulford, which caters for students with mild Special Educational Needs and Behavioural Difficulties. Due to an increase in numbers and recent referrals, the school are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant; ideally with a History/Humanities background. The students you would be supporting are at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 ages and classes range from 4 - 12 students at a time, with a lead teacher and support from the School's Senior Leadership Team.

As the ideal candidate, you should have at least a 2:2 in a History or Humanities Degree, a real passion for helping children with a disaffected background and a charismatic personality. Due to the nature of the children, you should be confident in your abilities and be able to effectively manage behaviour.
