Are you an experienced Higer Level Teaching Assistant (level 2/3) ?

Teaching Personnel are working with a ASC schol based in Banham. A role has become available for a SEN TA to join the school from September, this would be perfectly suited to a specialist teaching assistant with experience working within a SEN environment.

The role would include aiding the teacher with the daily running of the classroom, monitoring the progress and development of the pupils, creating a fun and safe working environment whilst upholding the values of the school at all times. The role would also include 1:1 work with a lower KS2 pupil with MLD during the afternoons of the school day, this would involve assisting with his school activities and providing him with reassurance and encouragement.

The ideal candidate would have:

• Experience working  with SEN pupils
• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in KS1/KS2
• Safeguarding experience
• A positive attitude to all aspects of work
• Uk address and right to work
• Prior experience working with pupils on a 1:1 basis

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
