Graduates - SEN support

Have you recently graduated and wish to take on a role where you can work with young people, particularly those with additional learning needs? Do you have either professional or real life experience working with ADHD or learning difficulties? If so, we want to hear from you!

Teaching Personnel is working with a number of mainstream secondary schools in County Durham, who seek to take on candidates for additional support within the classroom. Your experience and knowledge makes you the ideal classroom assistant to students disadvantaged by these factors.

OVERVIEW

• Working 1:1 alongside students with behavioural issues and learning difficulties (e.g. Dyslexia, ADHD, MLD and SLD)
• Providing emotional and intellectual support for students to improve their concentration and achievement in the classroom, bridging the gap between themselves and other students
• Collaborating with teaching staff to ensure a plan-of-action to ensure steady progression of students
• Creatively intervening to resolve students' frustrations and conflicts
