Graduates and Newly Qualified teachers needed in Hillingdon
There are several position available in North West London for recent graduates and newly qualified teachers. Several schools are looking to hire candidates for their graduate programs, working as a teaching assistant, sixth form coordinator and other engaging roles. The positions available for recently qualified teachers would be a brilliant learning opportunity and a chance to gain more responsibility.
The start date would be in September, but the schools are looking to fill positions as soon as possible. Candidates who apply to this post must be willing to work full time, 5 days a week from 8:30am till 3:30pm, and be willing to travel to Hillingdon.
Requirements
- The candidates would need UK qualifications (e.g. BSc, BEd, MSc), teaching qualifications (e.g. QTS, PGCE) are not necessary but would help the candidates application
- Extensive experience teaching at Secondary school, KS3-5 level, is not required but an interest in teaching and a desire to work hard would be needed
- The successful candidate must be comfortable working on a 1:1 basis, in small groups and covering full classes
- Experience with SEN, extra curricular activities and any other skills or abilities would be welcome in these schools

- The interviews are commencing this week for this role for a September start date
- The full-time role requires working 5 days-a-week, from 8:30am - 3:30pm
- The daily pay rate from £60-£110 depending on experience and qualifications
- Schools have roles available for all specialisms
The School
- The specific school looking to hire is located in Hillingdon, a 15 -20 minute walk from West Drayton station
- This school was rated as "good" by Ofsted as they noted "You have raised expectations for behaviour and for what pupils can achieve, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds."
- The school are constantly looking to improve their current standing and rating. Their new head teacher and leadership are using innovative ways to improve the level education.
- Senior leadership expect a high level of commitment for staff and students a like, and this belief in students allows them to excel through their Sixth form and onto to an adult life
