Teaching Personnel is supporting secondary schools in Farnborough who are seeking motivated, confident and adaptable Cover Supervisors to join them as soon as possible. The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4. Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering pre-planned lessons set by subject teachers
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively and in line with school policies
  • Ensuring a calm, focused and inclusive learning environment
  • Supporting students with a range of abilities, including those with additional or special educational needs (SEN)
  • Building positive relationships and acting as a role model for young people

This role is ideal for graduates exploring teacher training, individuals interested in education, or unqualified teachers looking to develop their skills.


The Ideal Candidate

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience working with young people (school, tutoring, coaching, youth work, mentoring)
  • Confidence leading a classroom and adapting to different subjects
  • A positive, proactive and resilient attitude
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly
  • An interest in supporting students with SEN and additional needs
  • A genuine enthusiasm for helping young people reach their full potential
