Secure an exciting primary teacher assistant role today supporting students with literacy & numeracy right the way through to their SATS exams next summer!

This dynamic South London Primary are searching for talented graduates to support their Year 5's with numeracy & literacy skills to start as soon as possible, right the way through to completing their Year 6 year in July 2019!

So if you are looking to apply for a PGCE in September 2019 and want to gain some invaluable experience first then this Primary Teaching Assistant role would be an ideal next step for you!

*Graduate primary teaching assistant
*Literacy & numeracy teaching assistants
*Future teachers
*Graduates required - must have 1st or 2.1
*Education experience, especially in KS2, would be desirable
*Competitive rates of pay
*Start immediately

To be considered for this Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant opportunity you must have the following:
*1st or 2:1 Russell Group (preferable) core subject degree
*School based experience
*Strong Literacy or Numeracy knowledge


As a successful teaching assistant you would need to be a recent graduate from a top university who has achieved a 2:1 or better in a core subject, previous experience working with children would be ideal. If you find yourself lacking in experience but are still passionate about pursuing a career in primary education and are eager to make you first steps, then this role could still be ideal for you.

Forming meaningful relationships with others and engaging with both pupils and other staff members are vital ingredients to make this role work. You should hold strong numeracy and literacy skills and be confident to support year 6 pupils in preparation for their SAT's approaching this summer.

The school itself is located close to excellent transport links and fantastic ties with the local community. The Head teacher is very supportive of all staff and ensures that aims to foster an engaging but creative learning environment.
