Teaching Personnel currently wish to hear from Graduate Teaching Assistants who are currently in pursuit of paid experience within a secondary school setting this academic year.
We specifically wish to hear from graduates that can travely to schools in Wigan and are interested in an exciting career within education.
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant working through Teaching Personnel you will have opportunities to gain invaluable experience in a number of key areas; Teaching, Support and Intervention.
Graduate Roles;
- Full and Part-time roles available
- Options for flexible but regular work based around your availability
- Competitive pay rates with earning potential of up to £1200 a month
- Training and CPD opportunities also available
- January start dates are available
Whilst working for Teaching Personnel you will have access to regular training and development schemes through ourselves and the schools that we work with.
Dependent on your ambitions and aspirations we are able to support you in pursuit of a career in the following areas;
Teaching
We are currently working with a number of schools, introducing graduates and aspiring teachers to a number of Graduate Teaching Assistant and Cover Supervisor roles. These roles are perfect for gaining classroom experience whilst developing excellent behaviour management skills ahead of completing a teacher training course in the future. If successful in your application to a full time role as a Graduate Teaching Assistant or a Cover Supervisor you will have the opportunity to observe and learn from highly experienced teachers.
Support
Teaching Assistant roles where you may be tasked working alongside students with behaviour difficulties or SEN requirements. There will be opportunities to work closely with identified students supporting them with their learning and ensuring that they are able to make steady and regular improvements within school.
Intervention
Tuition and Intervention opportunities where you will be required to work alongside students who are in need of additional support in order to achieve their target grades. There will also be opportunities to lead small group catch-up sessions to pupils who will benefit from specialist support from a graduate with extensive subject specific knowledge.
