Exciting Opportunity: Graduate Teaching Assistant Position with Pathway to Salaried Teacher Training - Starting September 2024

Role Overview:
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with experienced teachers to support the learning and development of students across various subjects and age groups. Your responsibilities may include:
- Assisting in planning and delivering lessons under the guidance of teaching staff.
- Providing one-on-one support to students who require additional help.
- Supporting classroom management and ensuring a positive learning environment.
- Assisting with the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
- Engaging in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich the student experience.
Pathway to Salaried Teacher Training:
This position serves as a stepping stone towards a career in teaching. Through your role as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you'll have the opportunity to gain practical experience and develop essential skills in the classroom. Successful candidates will be supported and guided through the process of applying for salaried teacher training programs, with the aim of commencing formal training in September 2025.

Requirements:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
